Each month, NEPNA Leadership profiles one of our neighborhood businesses. For September, it’s: Chives Catering.
We’re guessing that most of our NEPNA Neighbors enjoyed reading about the Jurgensen family in our June Get to Know a NEPNA Neighbor profile (link) and their less-than-common path to the Northeast Park neighborhood by way of Connecticut and Russia. What’s been equally enjoyable has been following the emergence of the Jurgensen-owned and operated Chives Catering business onto the Tampa Bay area catering and event planning scene.
Chives Catering is an experienced off premise catering establishment specializing in casual to elaborate weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions, bar/bat mitzvahs, hors d’oeuvre parties, bridal/baby showers, graduation parties or any other social event. Great food; Creative menus; Stylish presentation; Full-Service planning to fit any taste or budget (I think the idiom I’m looking for full-service planning is ’soup to nuts’). If the work that Chef Ken put in to helping coordinate the food and drinks for the over 500 neighbors that attended the inaugural Dog Days of Summer Party is any indication, a social event that involves Chives Catering will certainly surpass all of your expectations.
